Cinema 4D

Easy to learn and extremely powerful: Cinema 4D is the perfect package for all 3D artists who want to achieve breathtaking results fast and hassle-free. Beginners and seasoned professionals alike can take advantage of Cinema 4D’s wide range of tools and features to quickly achieve stunning results. Cinema 4D’s legendary reliability also makes it the perfect application for demanding, fast-paced 3D production, and a range of attractively priced software packages is available to fit any artist’s needs.

Release 20 is a milestone in the development of Cinema 4D! New features like MoGraph Fields, CAD importer, a volume-based modeling toolset and the new nod-based material system increase productivity and open new creative horizons.

R20 Highlights:
  • MoGraph Fields offer an incredible number of design possibilities for the MoGraph toolset. Fields open a completely new workflow that lets you control the strength of effects using an unlimited number of falloffs – from simple geometric shapes to shader and sounds to objects and mathematical formulas.
  • CAD import per drag-and-drop for common file formats such as STEP, Catia, JT and IGES. A scale-based tessellation makes it possible to individually control the level of detail for impressive visualizations.
  • Volume-based modeling with OpenVDB makes it possible to create an intuitive, completely procedural modeling workflow. Any primitive or polygon objects can be combined to create complex objects using Boolean operations.
  • Node-based material system. Completely new possibilities for creating materials – from simple references to highly complex shaders.
  • ProRender enhancement. The integration of the GPU-based Radeon ProRender technology was expanded with features such as Subsurface Scattering, motion blur and multi-passes, which are all essential for any production pipeline. Apple’s Metal2 and out-of-core textures are also supported.
